She looked at the clock: 1:15Am it read "SHIT my paper!!!!" It was due two hours ago, even though she sent it, there was no way he'd accept it, and it was her fault, she'd been so busy studying/playing around that 11:59 had come and gone...and then it happened.
SLAP!!!!!
Becky hadn't hit herself in many months, but now she did it again and again, banging her skull and occasionally her cheek, although it really hurt when she hit her cheek. How could she be so stupid, to let a due date slip like that? She was a junior for crying out loud, she was better than this!
"Stupid, stupid, stupid!!!!!!" Becky slapped herself one last time and then began to cry, sending two messages to her twinny, messages which would no doubt make no sense at all, but what else could she do? Utterly humiliated, she wiped her eyes and crawled off to bed, thoroughly ashamed of what she had done.
