Becky sat curled up on the bed staring at the phone in her hand. Every once in a while her wings twitched spastically in the humid air.
What's taking so long? she thought dejectedly It's been hours and hours, where is she?
She hadn't felt this depressed and lonely in a long long time, and what made it horrible was, she couldn't call her, even though every fiber in her being was aching to hear her darling's voice. The last time they'd spoken (oh how long ago that seemed), she'd said that SHE would call her. So, three LONG hours later, here she was, waiting...and waiting....
When would she hear from her baby?
