Jeff sighed as he rocked Hailey in his arms as they waited for Chris to return home. Hailey had been running a fever for a few days now, but due to the low readings they'd been getting when they took her temperature, Jeff and Chris opted to keep her home until it became a more serious matter. Now it was, Hailey's fever had spiked into a dangerous 103.2 and she was currently refusing to be taken to the hospital until Chris got home.
