Brett didn't have anymore nightmares, but he clung to his older brother the rest of the night, whimpering if Ted so much as shifted on the bed.

When Brett woke in the morning, he peeked out of the blankets and gently shook his brother who'd nodded off,

"Teddy?" his voice was very soft "Could you help me to the shower? I feel...dirty...."

Brett stumbled a little on the way to the bathroom, his legs were extremely stiff and there was still a dull pain in his backside,

"Thanks Teddy..." Brett mumbled as he was helped into the bathroom "I can't walk very well right now."

"Yeah...oh TEDDY!!!" Brett had pulled off his pants and had cried out when he saw the dried blood covering his legs "L..look what he did to me...."

Brett sobbed as the hot water pelted his battered body "W..what if he h..had AIDS or something?"

"I want to die..." Brett whimpered, sliding out of Ted's reach onto the bottom of the tub, curling up into a ball "It hurts too much...."

Brett shut the water off and stared up at his brother, looking more like a child of 12 than a young man of 22 "You'll help me?" he whispered softly

Brett managed to smile in return and lifted his arms so Ted could help him up "I love you big brother."

"Do you have some clothes I could borrow?" Brett murmured, blushing slightly "All my stuff is in my apartment...."
