Stay with me? Jay didn't have to write it down, the question was plainly visible in his eyes. As much as the IV's would allow, he moved over and pointed to the space on the bed next to him.

Grinning, Jay rested against Adam's chest and listened for a while to the older man's heartbeat. There was so much he wanted to say but the tube simply wouldn't permit it This thing SUCKS he scribbled, pointing to the tube sticking out of his mouth Did they say when it will come out?

Adam shook his head.

"Depends on how quickly you heal," Adam said.

Jay sighed and tossed the writing pad to the floor, looking up at the older blonde with a plaintive stare, his face still marred by the ugly bruises.

"Don't even try it, you need sleep," Adam said firmly. "I'm not going anywhere."

Sighing in defeat, Jay leaned down against Adam's chest and soon fell asleep.

"Stubborn fool," Adam muttered.

One of Jay's bright blue eyes snapped open and he smacked Adam lightly on the chest, wagging a finger at him afterwards before going back to sleep.
