Ordinary Day...or Not

Now that Madison was in her ninth month of pregnancy she traveled with Ted and Cody, because she could go into labor at any time. Little did she know, that would be sooner that she expected.

"Alright, careful now" Cody gently helped Madison out of the car "How's Destiny doing?"

"She's moving a lot more than she normally does," Madison said.

"Well you are almost due" Cody smiled "I'm sure she's just getting excited to see you" he took her hand and led her into the arena behind Ted, who was shouldering most of the bags.

Madison nodded.

After setting all the bags down in the lockerrom Ted spoke up.

"You know they're calling for snow tonight, right?" Ted asked.

"Yeah I heard" Cody shrugged "So what? We've gotten snow before."

Madison nodded. "It's no big deal," Madison said.

Ted shrugged.

"Ted..." Cody followed his fiance when he walked into the bathroom "What's bothering you?"

"She's nine months along Codes, what happens if we can't get outta here?" Ted asked.

"Teddy you're worrying too much" Cody shook his head "Even if we did get snowed in, we have medics here at all times, so if worse came to worse, we'd have trained professionals on hand."

"I just don't want anything to happen to them," Ted said.

"I don't either" Cody whispered "But they're going to be fine."

Ted nodded.

After the show ended, Cody glanced out of a window and whistled at what he saw "My goodness" he lisped "It's really coming down out there."

Ted nodded.

"Yeah, it really is," Ted said.

"I'm uh...I'm gonna go see if I can get the car" Cody murmured,grabbing his coat and leaving the locker room.

Ted nodded, heading back to Maddie.

Fifteen minutes later Cody stumbled back in, shivering and covered in snow "There's...no...way..." he gasped, sitting down on a bench "Nobody's getting out of here" he shed his coat and groaned, shivering with cold.

Ted nodded.

"Maddie's sleeping," Ted whispered, pointing to a couch in the back of the room.

Cody nodded "I hope Destiny doesn't decide to come today" he blew out a breath and sighed

"Don't jinx us Cody," Ted replied.

Cody knocked on the wooden bench and smiled "We'll be alright."

Ted chuckled.

"Hopefully," he muttered.

Both men turned when they heard their daughter call from the back room "Teddy...Cody...come here quick!!!"

"Maddie, what is it?" Ted asked.

"I think my water just broke," Madison said.
