Jeff is Hyper

Jeff smiled. "Is my Addy happy?"

Adam grinned with a mouth full of steak "Very happy Jeffy, this steak is delicious. Anything for dessert?"

"German Chocolate Cake," said Jeff

Adam started drooling instantly "With chocolate chip ice cream?" he asked hopefully, tail twitching in anticipation.

"Of course," Jeff smiled.

Adam couldn't resist anymore, he leapt up from the table and pounced on Jeff, smothering him with love-filled kisses "You've made this the best evening ever" Adam whispered, rumbling with pleasure "How can i ever repay you for all this?"

"You already have darlin," Jeff drawled gently. "Just by being here."

Adam grinned and then surprised himself by yawning widely, he'd forgotten how tired and worn out he was from being on the road for so long.

"Sleepy Addy?" Jeff asked

Adam nodded, yawning again as he did so "Vince wouldn't let me stop to rest while i was out doing appearances" he mumbled, feeling all his exhaustion starting to catch up with him "I'm so tired....."

"Mean old man," muttered Jeff. "C'mon, bedtime."

"Don't think I can make it upstairs" Adam whispered, feeling quite content to snuggle on Jeff's warm purring chest "I think I'll just sleep here tonight."

Jeff chuckled. "I'll carry you."

Adam smiled, barely able to keep his eyes open "Fine with...me....." he mewed, slowly falling asleep, even as he was being carried upstairs.

Jeff carefully tucked Adam into bed and slid in next to him.

Later that night.....

While Jeff slept on, Adam began to twist and turn in bed, a soft moan occasionally escaping from his lips. Suddenly, his eyes snapped open and he shot out of bed screaming in terror!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jeff sat up quickly. "Addy, darlin?"

Still hyperventilating, Adam zoomed to Jeff's side, his arms wrapped in a death grip around Jeff's waist.

"I...I...." he gasped for breath "I had a horrible dream Jeff, so horrible...." his eyes were wide with horror "I....I dreamed I didn't retire after Wrestlemania and I went into the ladder match against Alberto....only when I climbed the ladder to grab the belt, Del Rio pushed the ladder too soon and I fell on my head and....." Adam began to cry "I died Jeffy!!! I died right there in the ring!!!!"

Jeff pulled Adam close. "Shhhh shhhhh," he whispered gently. "Just breathe baby, just breathe."

Adam tried very hard to calm down, but he still couldn't stop shaking. "I still remember how i almost didn't get the MRI's done" he murmured, still very shaken "I almost had them convinced that I'd do Extreme Rules first, but now...I just know, I know that if I'd done it, I'd never have walked out of there and that scares me Jeffy!!" He gulped in huge breaths "Just hold me Jeffy, please just hold me."

"I've got you darlin, I've got you," Jeff soothed gently. "It's okay, you're okay."

Adam continued to cling to Jeff "I love you" he whispered, still trembling "I'm the luckiest cat in the world"

Jeff gently took one of Adam's blonde ears between his fingers, rubbing it gently. "I love you too Addy."

Adam slowly began to purr as Jeff continued to rub his ears.

Jeff smiled brightly. "There's my Addy."
