Not Exactly Baby Bourne Anymore

Evan giggled "I love you too Cassie, is dinner ready?"

"Almost Evan, hold your horses," Cassie laughed.

"Well Mattie...." Evan turned to his boyfriend "Shall we go to the table and await our meal?"

"Stay put Ev," Cassie said, carrying two plates in her hand. She handed one to Matt and one to her brother. "There."

"Thank you sister dear" Evan smiled and then stared at the massive amount of food on his plate "Cassie..." he called "You did save some for yourself,right?"

"Yes Evan, not relax and eat," Cassie said.

Evan shook his head as he dug in and ate, his sister could be something else at times, but he loved her anyways.

Cassie smiled, "You enjoying it?"

"Love it" Evan murmured "I think you're cooking has gotten even better to tell you the truth."

Cassie smiled.

After dinner was over Evan yawned and snuggled back up to his boyfriend "When do you have to leave again?" he asked softly, eyes wandering around the room.

"A week," Matt said.

Evan sighed, he knew it would go by all too quickly "I wish I could go with you" he murmured

"Evy, you know I couldn't live with myself if you got hurt," Matt said.

"But I'm already hurt" Evan's eyes were gleaming "Please Mattie...just this once?"

"No Evy, not this time, you gotta be here to keep an eye on Cassie," Matt said.

"Cassie can come along, the diva's will love her!" Evan pouted as much as he could "Please Mattie...I've been cooped up in this house for weeks, PLEASE????"

"Evy come on, don't look at me like that!" Matt said. "You know I can't resist that!"

"Pretty please Mattie...." Evan fluttered his eyelashes lightly "Pwease?"

"Alright, alright," Matt said. "Just stop using your adorableness against me!"

"Thank you Mattie!" Evan leaned up and kissed his boyfriend happily "You won't regret it, I promise!"

"I will if you get hurt any worse," Matt muttered.

"Nothing will happen" Evan murmured "You'll see."

Matt simply nodded.

One week later...

Evan stared up in horror at the giant looming in front of him, his crutch poised over his booted leg like a weapon

"Mike..." Evan backed away in terror "Please don't do this!" His blue eyes grew wide as Knox raised the crutch high and he screamed in pain as the metal crutch was brought down on his injured ankle "Oh GOD!!!" he rolled around and moaned as his attacker stomped off "Matt...Matt...." Evan began to cry, where was everybody? "Mattie!!!!"
