John smiled down at Mike's sleeping form, placing a gentle kiss on his forehead.

Despite his illness, Mike slept quite soundly for a while, that is until he felt John's body move away from him. Uncomfortable in the sudden chill, he whimpered and reached blindly for his lover

"Easy Mike it's alright," John said, walking back toward the bed, Jenna at his side.

"It's cold" Mike whined, bursting into a coughing fit when he opened his eyes and looked around

John simply sighed, sliding back into the bed, holding onto Mike again.

"Better?" John asked.

"Mmmhmmm" Mike nodded, finally taking notice of Jenna who was watching the pair with an amused expression on her face "Oh hi..." he managed to wheeze, coughing lightly "You must be John's friend."

After throughly examining Mike to the best of her ability Jenna sighed.

"You probably just got a pretty nasty flu bug," Jenna said.

"Is that all?" Mike groaned "And here I thought I had pneumonia or something."

"It's not that bad," Jenna said. "although, it does seem like you've been sick for longer than you lead on."

"Well..." Mike blushed and shifted uncomfortably "Maybe I have been sick for a while, but it was just a cough!"

"Um...two or three weeks? I'm not really sure" Mike blushed in shame

"Well..." Mike coughed and looked away "You'd just lost your title to McIntyre and you were all focused on getting it back so I didn't want to...distract you..."

"Mike, you know you come first!" John stressed. "I don't give a damn about that damn belt when it comes to taking care of you."

"But you were so happy planning how you'd get it back..." Mike sighed "I hadn't seen you so focused and happy since before we split as a tag team John, I didn't want to take away from that."

"Not really" Mike admitted "And to be truthful I didn't really care, I just wanted you to be happy."
