Please Take Care of Me

"Sleep well little one," Adam whispered.

Jay slept peacefully for a while, that is until his stomach decided to start turning sumersaults and backflips. Groaning frantically, he sat up in bed and began to cry "Addy, ADDY!!!!"

"I'm right here little one," Adam said softly. He'd sat and watched Jay sleep to be sure he was okay. "What is it baby?"

"I..I..." Jay was starting to gag "I'm gonna be sick Addy...."

"Come on. come on," Adam said, sweeping Jay into his arms and carrying him to the bathroom.

Held tightly in Adam's lap, Jay moaned and shook while his body completely emptied itself of the little food and water it had contained. The urge to heave was so painful that tears were running down Jay's pale face

"Please...make it stop..." he mumbled, his head lolling against the rim of the toilet "Can't...can't do it...anymore...." he was practically limp in Adam's arms, physically and mentally exhausted.

"It's alright," Adam murmured. "I've got you, I've got you."

"Addy...." Jay's voice was no more than a whisper "S-stay w-with m-m-me?"

"You didn't even have to ask," Adam smiled.

Jay smiled and promptly fell asleep in Adam's arms.

Adam smiled, carrying Jay back into the bedroom.

Jay gave a soft mew when he was laid onto the sheets, and one hand gently curled onto Adam's

"Shhh, it's alright little one," Adam whispered, sliding into the bed and pulling Jay close.

Soothed by Adam's presence, Jay finally fell into a deep and peaceful sleep.

Adam smiled, soon falling asleep as well.
