The Last Night

"Baby it's okay" Randy whispered gently "I'm not angry with you, I'm just happy you're alive." He bent down and gave her a gentle kiss "I thought I'd lost you."

"I just....I hate him Randy I hate him so much........I wanted him to hurt as badly as he's hurt me," Angel said.

"Who Angel?" Randy was genuinely confused "Who do you want to hurt?"

Angel couldn't even give her father the proper respect he deserved she was so angry with him. "Shawn," Angel whispered.

"It's cause of his obsession with Taker isn't it?" Pretty much the whole locker room had noticed Shawn's dark obsession with getting his rematch "Sweetheart I can't imagine how badly that must hurt you, but...if you were hurting this badly, why didn't you come to me?"

"I....I didn't think you'd care," Angel admitted. "Someone told me you were........cheating on me."

"What? Angel I'd never!" Randy squeezed her hand tightly "I've never cheated on you, I've never even THOUGHT about it, who told you that?"

What Angel was about to say would shock Randy beyond belief. "Cody," Angel muittered.

Randy could not believe his ears "Cody!?" That the slim brunette would do something like this shook Randy to his core "CODY told you I was cheating on you? Oh baby, I don't know what he was trying to pull but he was lying to you, apparently he was lying to me too."

"I think he's jealous," Angel admitted. "He's been flirting with me lately."

"Oh really?" Randy's eyes grew dark "I think Mr. Rhodes and I need to have a LONG talk once you get out of here."

"Randy.......could I stay with you for a while?" Angel asked. "I don't wanna go home."

"Of course Angel" Randy gently brushed her cheek with a kiss "You can stay with me as long as you want, for forever if you'd like."

"I'd like that," Angel smiled. "Lie down with me Rand, hold me......please?"

"You didn't have to ask" Randy murmured, sliding easily into the bed, all the while pulling Angel close to him "You're everything to me" he whispered "I don't know what I'd do if I ever lost you."

"I'm just so tired of hurting all the time," Angel said. "I'm never good enough in his eyes."

"Well you're perfect in my eyes" Randy practically purred into Angel's ear

"Randy, I'm Divas champion and I can't even get him to say he's proud of me!" Angel cried.

Randy sighed and softly began to sing, knowing the words would calm Angel down

Angel started to cry as she sang again, she didn't know how many time Shawn had said that.
