Brett shot Adam a mock glare "You know I don't like hospitals, under ANY circumstances. I....want.....to go....HOME." He began to pout "Please Addy.....I don't like it here."

Brett pouted even more, adding a tremble to his lower lip "Please Addy...." he pleaded in his softest voice "Take me home....." he sniffled, eyes watering up "Please?"

Adam bit down hard on his lower lip. "Lemme go hunt down Kenzie okay?" asked Adam. "I just wanna make sure you'll be okay if I take you home, that's all."

"Okay...." Brett sighed, curling up on the bed when Adam left, he really didn't like hospitals, the sooner he was out, the better he would feel.

Adam left, quickly returning with the youngest Reso in tow. Mackenzie started unhooking Brett from the various machines and drips.

Brett's face lit up with a huge smile as he latched onto Adam's neck "I'm free!!! I'm free!!!!"

Just as they were getting ready to leave, Brett's cell phone began to ring. Brett glanced at the caller ID and went pale "It's Teddy" he murmured "Addy can you get it? I don't want to talk to him yet...."

Brett nodded and let Adam carry him out of the hospital as the phone in his hand continued to ring and ring and ring

Brett snuggled against Adam the entire way home, sighing contentedly whenever Adam reached over to rub his head when they were stopped at a light.

"I've been meaning to ask you something" he murmured, just as they were getting close to Adam's house "Why were you driving around so late at night? And in my neighborhood no less?"

Brett snuggled even closer as they pulled up the drive. He looked out the window and whistled when he saw Adam's massive house "All this is yours?"

Brett nodded "Uh huh, it's beautiful." He opened the door and let Adam carry him out of the car "Um....I don't have anything with me, all my stuff is in a pile outside my...um, Taylor's house..."
